Noosa River Trail (~6.67 km one way) in the Cooloola section of Great Sandy National Park — a walk beside the upper Noosa River through the Noosa Everglades, where tea-tree-stained water mirrors the forest. Flat sandy track; remote 4WD-access area with biting insects. Remote area with little or no phone coverage: tell someone your plans, carry plenty of water and a map.
