Sandy Bay Walking Track (~2.68 km one way) in Molle Islands National Park — a Whitsunday island walk on the QPWS-mapped Sandy Bay Walking Track (about 2.7 km on the quest line) between the Bauer Bay area and Sandy Bay on South Molle Island, with views across to North Molle and Daydream Islands. QPWS describes the Sandy Bay track as 4.2 km one way from Bauer Bay, so allow extra time and check the QPWS South Molle Island page before you go. Exposed with little shade: carry water, a hat and sun protection, and check boat transfers. Access is by boat only. Shared-use trail: watch for mountain bikes, keep left and step aside to let riders pass. Hot and exposed: start early and carry plenty of water. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins.
