Shelly Beach Trail (~3.87 km one way) in Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park — a coastal walk from Cape Pallarenda across rocky headlands and dry woodland to secluded Shelly Beach, looking across to Magnetic Island. Little shade; take water and a hat. Hot and exposed: start early and carry plenty of water. Crocodile country: stay well back from the water's edge and never swim in creeks, rivers or estuaries.
