Tea Tree Falls Walking Track (~1.64 km one way) in New England National Park — one of the easiest tracks in this part of the park (NPWS Grade 3, about 4 km return), linking the Thungutti campground area with Toms Cabin near the headwaters of the Styx River. Tall brown barrel eucalypts tower over an understorey of banksia and tea tree, and near Toms Cabin the track passes through Antarctic beech hung with moss. Listen for honeyeaters. Walk back the same way. Note: the connecting Lyrebird walking track and Eagles Nest track are currently closed by NPWS for rockfall assessment, so do not continue onto them. Check NPWS alerts before you go. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins. New South Wales walking quest for Active Quests / PUML.
