Banggurru Walk to Wallaman Falls (~1.89 km circuit) in Girringun National Park (Wallaman Falls) — a descent from the Wallaman Falls lookout into the gorge toward the base of Australia's highest single-drop permanent waterfall, through rainforest and open forest. Steep climb back out; the road can close in the wet. Seasonal: tracks may close after heavy rain, in the wet season or during fire management; check Queensland Parks alerts before you go. Remote area with little or no phone coverage: tell someone your plans, carry plenty of water and a map. Crocodile country: stay well back from the water's edge and never swim in creeks, rivers or estuaries. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins. Queensland walking quest for Active Quests / PUML.
