Jabali Walk (~2.7 km one way) in Girringun National Park — a QPWS moderate walk of about 5 km return from just west of the Blencoe Falls camping area to the Blencoe Falls lookout, where Blencoe Creek plunges into the gorge. Walk back the same way (about 1.5 to 2 hours return). Access is via unsealed roads, high-clearance 4WD is recommended and roads can be cut by flooding from December to April. Remote area with little or no phone coverage: tell someone your plans, carry plenty of water and a map. Seasonal: tracks may close after heavy rain, in the wet season or during fire management; check Queensland Parks alerts before you go. Hot and exposed: start early and carry plenty of water.
