Coombadjha Nature Stroll (~1.39 km loop) in Washpool National Park — an easy NPWS Grade 2 loop (1.4 km, 30 minutes to 1 hour) from the Coombadjha area beside the clear waters of Coombadjha Creek, through World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest of giant red cedars, figs and coachwoods. Look for platypus and turtles in the creek pools and listen for lyrebirds and whipbirds. Park entry fees apply; the tableland weather can change quickly, so bring a warm layer. Remote area with little or no phone coverage: tell someone your plans, carry plenty of water and a map. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins.
