Mount Kootaloo Circuit (~1.27 km circuit) in Family Islands National Park (Dunk Island) — a climb from Brammo Bay through rainforest to Mount Kootaloo, the highest point of Dunk Island, with views south over the Family Islands and back to the Cassowary Coast. Water-taxi access from Mission Beach. Access is by boat only. Crocodile country: stay well back from the water's edge and never swim in creeks, rivers or estuaries.
