Emerald Creek Falls Lookout Track (~0.92 km one way) in Dinden West Forest Reserve — a Grade 3 walk from the day-use area upstream beside Emerald Creek, past granite cascades and rock pools through dry eucalypt, acacia and grevillea forest, to a lookout over the falls, the valley and the northern Atherton Tableland. Short steep sections; the granite is extremely slippery when wet, so stay on the track and behind barriers and do not climb on the falls. Seasonal: tracks may close after heavy rain, in the wet season or during fire management; check Queensland Parks alerts before you go. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins.
