Lake Barrine Circuit (~4.75 km circuit) in Crater Lakes National Park (Lake Barrine) — an easy circuit around the rim of Lake Barrine, a deep volcanic crater lake ringed by tall rainforest, passing the famous twin bull kauri pines. Look for musky rat-kangaroos and turtles in the clear water. Seasonal: tracks may close after heavy rain, in the wet season or during fire management; check Queensland Parks alerts before you go.
