Mount Baldy Summit Track (~1.61 km one way) in Herberton Range State Forest — the climb to the 1109 m summit of Mount Baldy, part of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Baldy-Yabi circuit walk (8.4 km return, Grade 4). QPWS says the walk to either summit from the nearest car park takes a person of moderate fitness about 45 minutes, with views over the Atherton Tableland and Lake Tinaroo. The track is strenuous, with steep sections and loose rock. Observe the Atherton rifle range danger signs and stay on the walking track at all times. Dogs are allowed on a leash; mountain bikes are not. Allow enough time to return in daylight, and come back the same way. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins.
