Wonga Walk (~5.22 km loop) in Dorrigo National Park — Dorrigo's signature rainforest circuit (NPWS Grade 3; NPWS lists a 5.8 km loop, 2 to 3 hours) through World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest. Pass 600-year-old trees, colourful fungi and vines, cross the suspension bridge at Crystal Shower Falls (with an optional detour into the cavern behind the water) and continue past the cascades of Tristania Falls before looping back through The Glade. There are some steeper sections, steps and boulder crossings. NPWS advises the walk can be joined at The Glade picnic area or by an additional access track (steep and uneven, for experienced walkers) a 2-minute walk from the Skywalk along Lyrebird Lane. Afternoon storms in warmer months can be severe, so check the forecast. Check in at GPS points to earn ACTIVE Coins. New South Wales walking quest for Active Quests / PUML.
